Explore the China Pavilion

The China pavilion is located in the world showcase at Epcot theme park. The sizeable Chinese gateway welcomes you to the pavilion and is a great picture-taking spot. Once you walk through the gateway, you are magically transported to China.  The courtyard is surrounded by buildings that reflect traditional Chinese architecture and colorful artwork. The Temple of Heaven is a place you need to check out during your visit. It has a museum where you can see interesting exhibits and ancient Chinese artifacts.  There is also an outdoor stage where you can see live entertainment. The most famous act is the Chinese acrobats, performing there for many years.  The pavilion has small gift shops filled with interesting things to buy—Chinese hats, jewelry, clothing, home décor, tea sets, and good fortune gifts.  As you explore the China pavilion, make sure you find your way to the Nine Dragons Restaurant just in time for your reservation.

Nine Dragons Restaurant Décor

The interior décor of this restaurant is beautiful. You feel relaxed and happy as soon as you step inside due to the calming ambiance and breathtaking color theme.  Woodwork wall dividers separate the large dining spaces and create a comfortable dining experience. The booths and seats of the chairs are a subtle light green color, while the accent colors of pink are found in small places, such as lanterns hanging from the ceiling.  This restaurant is large, and the tables are close to each other. The noise level can be a bit loud depending on how full the restaurant is at the time, but you can request a booth, and for some reason, it lessens the overwhelming feeling of the noise.  A charming part of the décor is the stained glass windows and amazing jade and aqua-colored wall décor.  Now that you know you will be surrounded by contemporary luxury let’s get to the food.
