Disney’s Wilderness Lodge captures the spirit of the great lodges of Yellowstone and the Pacific Northwest. Its lobby rises eight stories, framed by huge log columns, totem poles and a massive stone fireplace. Outside, a stream flows from the lobby to a pool fed by a waterfall, and a geyser erupts regularly by the lake.

Pools and recreation
The main pool is fed by a waterfall and has a waterslide. There’s a quieter pool at Boulder Ridge, a beach on Bay Lake, and bike rentals for trails that lead to Fort Wilderness.
Tips
- Watch the geyser. Fire Rock Geyser erupts roughly every hour.
- Take the boat. It’s one of the most relaxing ways to reach Magic Kingdom.
