Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away brought a nighttime parade back to Magic Kingdom in 2025, and it has quickly become a favorite. Floats and performers glow with thousands of lights as they travel through the park, with music that blends classic Disney songs and new arrangements. It’s a lovely way to spend an evening before the fireworks.

What to expect
Each float is built around a film or franchise, with characters riding high above the street and dancers in light-up costumes moving alongside. The glow reads beautifully against the dark sky and the lit-up castle behind it.
Tips
- Check the schedule. Disney has trimmed the parade to a single performance on some nights and skips it during special events. Confirm the day of your visit.
- Pair it with the fireworks. On nights with an early parade you can often see both Happily Ever After and the parade from the same Main Street spot.
- Frontierland is calmer. The parade starts there, and crowds are usually thinner than on Main Street.
