The Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade is a small, old-school diversion in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland. Step up to a rifle, aim at the targets hidden around a miniature frontier town, and watch the scene react with gags, sounds and moving figures. It’s quick, quirky and a nice break for kids who have been waiting in lines.

How it works
The rifles use infrared beams rather than pellets. Hit a target, like a tombstone, a cactus or a bank window, and something happens: a skeleton pops up, a vulture squawks, or a safe swings open. There’s no prize for a high score, just the fun of finding every gag.
Tips
- Kids may need a boost. The rifles are set at a fixed height, so small children may need help to aim.
- Pair it nearby. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the Country Bear Musical Jamboree are all steps away.
