Be Our Guest Restaurant puts you inside the Beast’s castle, perched on a hill in the Fantasyland section of Magic Kingdom. Since it opened in 2012, it has been one of the most requested dining reservations at Walt Disney World, mostly because the rooms themselves are so striking. You cross a stone bridge, pass the gargoyles and suits of armor, and sit down to a French-inspired meal in a setting that feels lifted straight from the film.

The dining rooms
Be Our Guest has three rooms, and each has its own personality. You usually can’t choose, but you’re welcome to walk through all of them.
- The Grand Ballroom is the showstopper, with soaring ceilings, chandeliers painted with cherubs, and tall windows where snow falls gently outside.
- The West Wing is darker and moodier. The enchanted rose glows under its glass dome, and the slashed portrait of the prince shifts when thunder rolls.
- The Rose Gallery is quieter and more intimate, centered on a large music box with Belle and the Beast dancing on top.
What to eat
The menu is a three-course, fixed-price meal. You’ll pick an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert trio. The menu changes over time, but expect elegant takes on French dishes like beef tenderloin, seafood, and roasted poultry, with vegetarian options. The dessert course is where the restaurant has the most fun. The famous “grey stuff” has been a longtime favorite, so try it if it’s offered.
Beer and wine are available, a rarity in Magic Kingdom, which only serves alcohol at a few table-service restaurants.
Tips for dining
- Book early. Reservations open 60 days ahead, and prime dinner times go quickly.
- Take the tour. Even if you’re seated in the ballroom, walk into the West Wing before you leave. The details are easy to miss.
- Time it with a ride. Enchanted Tales with Belle and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are right nearby, so you can plan a Fantasyland afternoon around your reservation.
- Check for character appearances. The Beast has greeted diners here at various times. Ask when you book if seeing him matters to you.
Is it worth it?
If you love Beauty and the Beast, yes. The price reflects the setting as much as the food, and the setting is extraordinary. Guests looking only for a great meal may find better value elsewhere, but few restaurants anywhere make you feel like you’ve stepped into a movie the way this one does.
