La Creperie de Paris

La Creperie de Paris

Oui, Oui, lots of crepes for me! La Creperie de Paris offers you the choice to enjoy table service dining or pick up some tasty treats from the quick-service window. Today, let’s explore the table service portion and taste test some popular options. Are you ready to indulge in authentic French cuisine while visiting Epcot?

Let’s head to Le Creperie de Paris and let the fun begin!

Explore the French Pavillion at Epcot

As you enter Epcot, pick up a map that shows you the path to the France pavilion. The France pavilion is between the United Kingdom and Morocco pavilions in the world showcase area. You will surely know you are there when you see a replica of the Eiffel Tower as you enter the pavilion.

The pavilion is specially created to resemble a quaint Parisienne neighborhood. It features fountains, a pool, shops, bistros, restaurants, and more. Many shops on the streets in the pavilion sell French items such as high-end perfumes by Guerlain and other name brands.

Attractions in the France pavilion include the panoramic film Impressions de France which has the country’s most romantic and stunning landmarks. However, the main attraction is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This ride is fun for the entire family. It makes you feel like you shrunk down to the size of a mouse as you navigate through the ride in the cutest mouse car you have ever seen.

If you like singing, check out the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along attraction that will help you show off your vocal skills.

La Creperie de Paris Restaurant Décor

As soon as you step out of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, you are in the heart of the France pavilion and just a few steps away from La Creperie de Paris. The exterior décor of the restaurant looks exactly like the many bakeries that line the streets in Paris. You walk in; no reservations are needed!

The restaurant’s interior is bright and features natural elements such as wooden tables and chairs and ceiling beams. It has a French country vibe and plenty of space between the tables for easy movement and wheelchair navigation. Also, booths are lined against the wall that is large enough to fit up to four people plus a wheelchair to sit at the end of the table.

Review of the Cuisine at La Creperie de Paris

La Creperie de Paris serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Today, let’s taste test some of the delicious options from the lunch menu.

Appetizers

The appetizers are tasty and light to ensure you have plenty of room for the crepes. You can choose the soup of the day, which can range from chicken noodles to French onion, or a salad of mixed greens, onions, and tomatoes topped with a delicious vinaigrette dressing.

Galettes

These traditional buckwheat crepes can be found in Europe and at the French pavilion in Epcot. If you are looking for authentic tasting galettes, any of the options at this spectacular restaurant will win points with your taste buds.

The Classique Galette

If it’s your first time eating a galette, you can’t go wrong with the classic eggs, ham, and Swiss cheese. The galette is folded and holds all the creamy cheese, egg, and ham that oozes out when you cut into it.

Ratatouille

Since you are in Paris and most likely just built up an appetite riding Remy’s Ratatouille adventure, it’s only fitting to choose a ratatouille galette. The filling combines tasty flavors, including zucchini, tomato, and eggplant. The special recipe is impressive and delicious!

Dessert Crepes

The traditional dessert crepes are thin, lightly crisped, and the perfect foundation for lovely fillings. Here are a few tasty options you need to try.

  • Banane – This crepe is filled with banana as expected, but the salted caramel butter is what takes it from good to remarkable!
  • Melba – Indulge in this succulent dessert crepe! It’s filled with soft, warm peaches, crunchy almonds, and delicious red berry sauce.
  • Gourmande – This crepe has a chocolaty center topped with whipped cream. The chocolate hazelnut spread is what makes this famous crepe a must-eat for chocolate lovers.
  • Pomme – Warm apples fill the center of this crepe and are complemented with the perfect amount of delicious salted caramel butter.

If you can’t decide what to eat, try the Prix Fixe Menu or fixed price menu. It narrows your choices to the most popular items and allows you to choose one galette and one dessert crepe. You will want to try the other flavors once you taste your first two options.

The great thing about the crepes and galettes is they are pretty large and filling. So, make sure you enjoy one in the restaurant and pick up some extras at the quick service window.

If you want to eat on the go, the quick-service window prepares and wraps the crepes, so it’s easy to eat and carry.

Tip: Whether you are dining in or ordering to go, you must taste the Orangina French soda! It’s bubbly, delicious, and boosts your mood with every sip!

Hot Beverages

Nothing goes better with crepes and galettes than a hot beverage. The espresso has a kick, boosts your energy, and compliments the crepes and galettes. The cappuccino is sweet and perfect for savory galettes such as the classic.

If you want to drive your La Creperie de Paris experience to the highest level, try paring the French hard ciders with any crepe or galette. You can also choose champagne or specialty cocktails such as the French martini to create a truly authentic experience.

La Creperie de Paris keeps its doors open to everyone who passes by; you never need a reservation. It serves authentic quality French crepes, galettes, and beverages, as well as an excellent experience for the entire family.
