In this case, you want to go straight to Mexico, so choose the left side of the path. The Mexico pavilion is the first one seen on the path. 

You are greeted with the vision of the Mesoamerican pyramid with stairs guiding you towards the entrance. Once you enter, a new world opens up to you, and you find yourself transported to Mexico in a blink of an eye. 

You will feel surrounded by the culture as you browse and indulge in the entire experience. A fun thing to do is visit the shops in the marketplace and find meaningful items that will help you remember your fantastic time at Epcot’s Mexico pavilion. 

The shops have many items to choose from, but some of the most popular include Mexican ceramics, sombreros, maracas, jewelry, clothing, and The Three Caballeros items. 

Make sure to take a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour! In this epic adventure, Donald Duck has gone missing south of the border, and it’s up to the other Caballeros to find their friend. You can cruise the Rio Grande in a slowly drifting boat that allows you to take scenery such as the Mayan pyramid and other exciting sights.

La Cantina de San Angel Décor

You don’t need a reservation at La Cantina de San Angel; everyone is welcome! You walk right up to the counter and place your order. Once your order is ready, bring it to the outdoor covered patio that overlooks the world showcase lagoon and find a seat. There are plenty of tables to choose from and even some picnic-style tables. 

A condiment stand is located next to the covered seating area that has everything you need and allows you to get as much as you like to make your food taste how you like it!

Entrées

Nachos

Everyone loves nachos, and these are the best! This dish features tortilla chips, seasoned ground beef, beans, white nacho cheese, jalapenos, and tomatoes, topped with sour cream. 

Arroz con Pollo Bowl

This chicken and rice bowl is delicious and a great option when feeling hungry. It features seasoned marinated grilled chicken, corn, and rice. It’s topped with a spicy tomato sauce, cilantro, pickled onions, and queso fresco. 

Tacos de Pollo 

These tasty chicken tacos are something the entire family can enjoy. It features grilled marinated chicken stuffed in corn tortillas and topped with red salsa and cilantro. This dish includes a side order of their famous black beans and rice with queso fresco. 

Empanadas con Queso

If you love cheese, this excellent option will spark joy. The fried flour tortillas are filled with delicious cheese that is warm and flavorful. The tortillas are topped with queso fresco, salsa verde, and sour cream. This dish also comes with rice and beans. 

Tacos de Barbacoa

The corn tortillas are homemade and have a great flavor, but when they are filled with shredded beef, the combination is amazing. The tacos are topped with cilantro and special red sauce. This dish comes with white rice, black beans, and some tasty queso fresco. Dipping the beef taco in the black beans is recommended. The flavors complement each other and taste great!

Tacos de Camaron 

These shrimp tacos are delicious! It features corn tortillas that are homemade and stuffed with corn breaded shrimp, salsa verde, cabbage, and particular mango relish. This dish comes with black beans and rice with queso fresco.

Churros

If you haven’t tried a churro yet, now is the time. This is the only Mexican-inspired dessert on the menu, and it’s worth it! These churros are fried to perfection, so they have a perfect crispy crunch you will adore. They are served with a chocolate hazelnut spread that kicks up the flavor of the churro and makes it out of this world.

El Tigre 

This beverage contains pomegranate and pear-infused vodka, ginger juice, pineapple juice, and a wildflower salted rim on the glass. 

The Wild One

This beverage features mango passion fruit puree, El Tigre tequila, chile liqueur, fresh lime juice, and a hibiscus salted rim on the glass. 

Classic on the Rocks
