What it feels like to Ride Tower of Terror

As you approach the Tower of Terror, you will see the top of it from a distance. It’s so tall that it peeks above the tops of the palm trees and looks like a haunted building. The sign says the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and that’s when you know you have reached the right place.

As you wait in line, the interior of the waiting area has cobwebs and spooky-looking lanterns, and it’s quite dark as you stand in this spooky lobby of the hotel.

The music sounds spooky, and a screen gives information about the hotel and the Twilight Zone. When you feel a bit creeped out, it’s time to get on the elevator and take a seat. Hold on tight because it’s an adventure you are not expecting.

As you reach different floors, there are other experiences such as ghosts you can see flickering in the distance as you hear sound effects and the scary voice of the man narrating the ride. Each floor gets more spooky as the ride goes on!

When you feel not so scared and relaxed, zoom your hurtle towards the top of the building and plummet to the bottom repeatedly. It’s super thrilling because it’s very dark, and you can’t tell if you are going up or down until it suddenly happens.

If you like dark, thrilling rides, your family will love the Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
