Go in the sea with Pixar’s The Seas with Nemo and Friends without getting soaking wet. This festive attraction is fun for the entire family. Explore the sea and tag along on the adventure as you try to find Nemo. Let’s head over to World Nature at Epcot to learn more about this family-friendly attraction. 

The Rules for The Seas with Nemo and Friends

  • You can be at any height to ride this attraction. 
  • All ages are welcome at this attraction. 
  • This is a slow ride that is in a relaxing environment. 

Waiting with Anticipation

As you approach The Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction, you will see a splash of water pop up in front of the sign that immediately sparks joy. As you walk along the entrance sidewalk, a large mural on the wall features colorful sea life. Make sure you take pictures in front of the wall because it makes an amazing backdrop. 

As you make your way into the attraction, you are greeted by Disney cast members. The blue and green colors are seen everywhere and create a warm, cozy, and relaxing feeling that encourages you to take a deep breath. 

Tip: Use the flashlight on your cell phone to navigate through the dark areas of the walking path. 

What it Feels like to Ride The Seas with Nemo and Friends

Now it’s your turn to board the orange seashell cart and cuddle up as you glide through the ride watching large screens featuring Nemo and his friends. It makes you feel like you are in the sea with them, part of the story. 

During the ride, you hear all of the voices as the story is told. You can even see along towards the end of the ride. 

Scare Factor

This attraction does not have a scare factor. However, young children afraid of the dark might feel nervous during the ride. There is also a part of the ride when a giant shark appears for a brief moment that could scare young children. 

Post Show

As you exit your vibrant colored seashell after the ride is over. You will navigate your way to the exit. Try to visit the aquarium areas to see live marine animals. 

The upper level features sea turtles, sharks, stingrays, and dolphins. The lower level has aquariums with ocean life, fish, real-life Nemo, manatees, and turtle talk with crush. 

Tip: When you exit into the Future World area, a gift shop has Nemo-inspired gear and items. 

Food & Beverages

You can continue your relaxing sea-inspired vibe by grabbing a bite at the Coral Reef Restaurant. This incredible indoor dining restaurant is located in the World Nature area at Epcot. 

The dining area at this restaurant is amazing! The carpet has patterns that make you feel like walking on water. The barriers between the tables are shaped like waves and feature exquisite colorful mosaic-style tiles. 

In addition to the incredible décor, aquariums lining the walls creating a unique sea-inspired atmosphere.

  • Key lime tart – This potent dessert is a key lime tart topped with toasted meringue, chocolate garnish, sprinkles, and Disney’s famous shimmer. 
  • Jack Daniel’s and Baileys Almande mousse – This plant-based dessert features candied almonds, chocolate ganache, and alcohol products.
