Escape to Mexico and dine during twilight with a view of the Mayan Ruins. San Angel Inn Restaurante is a table service restaurant modeled after a hacienda in the 17th century. A reservation is needed to dine in this exquisite restaurant and a valid park ticket for the same day as your reservation. Are you ready to be transported to a magnificent dining experience?
Let’s head over to the Mexico pavilion and let the fun begin!
Explore the Mexico Pavilion
When you begin your journey of the world showcase, turn left, and it will guide you straight towards the Mexico pavilion. As you enter the pavilion, you will notice the Mexican architecture, a large staircase, and a vast Mesoamerican pyramid.
The outdoor plaza features shops where you can buy Mexican products such as ceramics, jewelry, clothing, instruments, sombreros, maracas, and more! If you love the Three Caballeros, check out the gift shops because they are filled with figurines, t-shirts, mugs, and other merchandise featuring the three lovable characters.
The staircase in the plaza guides you to the pyramid’s entrance, where you will find an art gallery with Mexican art and much more to explore.
Make sure to take a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour! In this epic adventure, Donald Duck has gone missing south of the border, and it’s up to the other Caballeros to find their friend. You can cruise the Rio Grande in a slowly drifting boat that allows you to take scenery such as the Mayan pyramid and other exciting sights.
You will find the San Angel Inn Restaurante at the plaza’s edge as you navigate the village and marketplace.
San Angel Inn Restaurante Décor
The restaurant décor is outrageous and overlooks an indoor lagoon. The entire restaurant makes you feel like you are outside at night. Candles on every table, lanterns on the walls, and the pyramid’s staircase lights up and glows.
The tables are arranged in perfect lines to ensure everyone seated in the dining room has a great view of the realistic décor. This restaurant is an excellent choice for a romantic date or celebration.

Camarones a la Diabla
This dish might be called “deviled shrimp,” but it’s heavenly. It features shrimp sautéed in garlic with guajillo pepper, roasted cauliflower, and poblano rice.
Pescado A La Veracruzana
This fish dish is one of the few on the menu, and it’s spectacular. It features seared snapper served on top of seasoned potatoes and topped with bell peppers, olives, capers, Spanish onions, and tomatoes. The vinaigrette is delicious and has capers for an extra zing of salty flavor.
Chuleta de Puerco

Desserts
Tres Leche de Horchata
Sweet and delectable, this dessert features sponge cake soaked in rice milk and topped with toasted almonds and sweet corn ice cream. The flavors of the corn ice cream and toasted almonds combined with the soft juicy texture of the sponge cake make this dessert a must-try!
Chocolate Fiesta Pyramid
This festive dessert is excellent for sharing with two or more people. It features a chocolate pyramid decorated like a piece of art. The filling is Mexican Chocolate Mousse and topped with toffee. While that part of the dessert sounds reasonable enough, there is even more delicious dessert to enjoy. A tres leches cake and ice cream brings the entire dessert together and makes it incredible!
Sorbet Trio
While this dessert sounds a bit boring, it’s quite a great compliment to cleanse your palette and cool down those spicy flavors you just enjoyed in your entrée. The sorbet’s taste is seasonal, so it’s a surprise, but you can be sure it’s topped with a delightful berry coulis.
Margaritas and Signature Drinks
San Angel Inn Margarita
Well, since you are dining in a restaurant with the same name, you must try the San Angel Inn Margarita! It features orange liqueur, Casa Dragones Blanco tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar and is served on the rocks. The black ant salt rim adds a powerful kick to the entire Margarita.

This must-try Margarita features a sweet-tart mix of blood orange, Ambhar Blanco tequila, chile-lime powder on the rim, and a splash of ancho Reyes chile liqueur.
The Cucumber
This refreshing Margarita features Abasolo corn whiskey, Trombo Blanco tequila, fresh lime, cucumber juice, agave, orange liqueur, and a potent chile-lime powder on the rim of the glass.
El Diablo
This drink is called “the devil,” and it’s most likely because of the heat from the jalapenos. It features Tromba Blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, cucumber-jalapeno juice, and hibiscus salt on the rim of the glass.
