What it Feels Like to Ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
This fun ride begins before you sit in the cute grey mouse car. As you walk along the pathways, you will notice the gradual change in décors, such as the walls and floors feeling larger than life. They are purposely designed to make you feel like you have shrunk down to Remy’s size.
As you notice you are feeling shrunk down to the size of a mouse, you will appear on the restaurant’s rooftop with an excellent view of Paris at night. Make sure you keep your eyes open for hidden Mickey’s along the way. Some of them are challenging to find, making things more exciting and fun!
When you reach the mouse cars and grab your complimentary pair of 3D glasses, you feel rat size and ready to experience the ride. Hop into the mouse car and hold on because you are an adventure that begins immediately!
The mouse car twists and turns its way through the ride and gives you an inside look at what it feels like to be a rat that loves to cook. Your adventure begins in the restaurant kitchen, where Remy is not welcome. You first notice the smell of cooking from the kitchen and start being chased by the chef and kitchen staff as you run for your life in your little mouse car.
You feel like you are hiding and running to avoid getting caught and find yourself running on top of the countertops. This 3D adventure makes you feel like you are in the movie!
As you exit the ride and walk down the pathway, you will notice the décor goes from making you feel rat size to human size again. Once you reach the outdoors, you are in the France pavilion, and Remy’s presence is seen in plenty of areas.
Scare Factor
This ride has a very low scare factor. It’s dark, and the mouse car twists and spins without warning. Some children might feel afraid during portions of this ride.
Post Show
You can enjoy Remy’s world a bit longer when you browse around the French pavilion where Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is located. You will notice a large water fountain in front of the ride. If you look closely, you will notice the metal accents of Remy and other rats holding champagne bottles.
The surrounding area has small Remy-inspired things to search for, such as small rat paw prints on the ground, Remy engraved on the surface of the manhole cover, and the rod iron part of the benches.
You will most likely feel hungry after smelling food and cheese during the ride. Make sure you head over to La Creperie de Paris restaurant for a bite to eat.
