Let’s head over to World Nature at Epcot to explore more about this captivating attraction.

Riding Living with the Land
Horticulturalists at Walt Disney World are known for their creativity and innovative techniques for growing vegetables and fruits. They have also invented high-yielding crops and cross-breeding techniques to help feed more people.
As you step onto the boat and sit comfortably in your seat with other visitors, you will immediately relax and take a deep breath of fresh air.
The boat moves slowly and starts in a relaxed dark environment. You feel the wind and experience the conditions of a thunderstorm and other weather circumstances. You also see and hear a waterfall as the narrator of the ride discusses the environment from afar.
Just when you think the entire attraction will be in the dark, it opens up to the outdoor pavilion that protects all of the greenhouses. The sun shines through the pavilion providing bright light for the fruits, vegetables, and plants to grow.
As your boat navigates through the outdoor pavilion, you learn interesting information about harvesting and agriculture. When you exit the outdoor area, you go back into a dark place that looks like an aquarium. You will see various live fish and sea life, then find your boat back into the sunlight and surrounded by plants, greenery, vegetables, and more.
Also, the hanging gardens are fun to see, such as giant pumpkins hanging from the greenhouse ceiling. Innovative vertical farming is seen throughout the ride.
Remember to look out for hidden Mickey’s such as topiaries shaped like Mickey Mouse ears throughout the entire ride!
Scare Factor
The scare factor is zero. This attraction is very relaxing, engaging, and informative. Some small children might be afraid of the dark portions of the ride, but the darkness is only a few minutes then the sunshine appears.
