La Cava del Tequila

La Cava del Tequila

The La Cava del Tequila lounge at Epcot captures the essence of Mexico. This table service tequila bar serves world-class drinks and tasty snacks, producing an incredible experience. You need a reservation to visit this hidden gem and a valid Epcot park ticket for the same day. This authentic bar has everything you can dream of regarding tequila. Are you ready to discover everything La Cava del Tequila has to offer?

Let’s head over to the Mexico pavilion and let the fun begin!

Explore the Mexico Pavilion

The Mexican pavilion is located in the world showcase at Epcot. It’s conveniently located as the first pavilion when you walk to the left side to begin your journey around the lagoon.

You will know you have reached the Mexican pavilion when you see the tall Mesoamerican pyramid. This structure is a sight and so tall that the fireworks show is produced from the top.

The festive plaza is the place to be in the Mexico pavilion. There are shops in the marketplace area of the plaza where you can buy Mexican-inspired items such as home décor, clothing, jewelry, musical instruments, sombreros, and more. If you love the Three Caballeros, you will find plenty of merchandise featuring this fun trio.

As you navigate the pavilion, you will notice beautiful Mexican artwork, the sound of festive music, and other surprises that immerse you in the culture.

If you love the Coco movie, you will be thrilled to know you will see character merchandise and statues throughout the marketplace. A fun part about the marketplace is you can enter all the shops, and each has something different that you haven’t seen in the others. You can pick up figurines, dolls, t-shirts, and more!

Tip: The marketplace has dim lighting in most places. If you find it difficult to see in the dark, use the flashlight on your cell phone to navigate through the dark areas. Also, try to stay close to the shops because they have the brightest lights that beam out into the marketplace.

While you are having a great time exploring the Mexican pavilion, make sure you find your way to the La Cava del Tequila bar in time for your reservation.
