It’s time to party with the Three Caballeros on the Gran Fiesta Tour! When you arrive at Epcot, choose to go to the left towards the Mexico pavilion first to start your journey through the World Showcase, or go to the right if you want to save the Gran Fiesta Tour for your last adventure. 

In this epic adventure, Donald Duck has gone missing south of the border, and it’s up to the other Caballeros to find their friend. You can cruise the Rio Grande in a slowly drifting boat that allows you to take scenery such as the Mayan pyramid and other exciting sights.

  • You can be at any height to ride this attraction.
  • All ages are welcome to ride this attraction. 
  • This ride is slow and in the dark. 

What it Feels Like to Ride the Gran Fiesta Tour

As you walk down the path to board the ride, you will notice festive pictures on the walls that spark positive energy and get you excited to start the ride. When it’s your turn, you will step onto the boat and get comfortable as it takes off in calm ease that glides through the entire ride with ease. 

You are greeted with beautiful vibrant colors, music, and narration. The Three Caballeros and their friends entertain you with singing and dancing at this festive and fun attraction. 

Scare Factor

The scare factor is zero for this attraction. The ride is in the dark, and some children might feel scared. However, it’s a pleasant slow-moving ride that the entire family can enjoy together. 

Post Show

When you exit the ride, you will be ready to party more and indulge in tasty Mexican-inspired treats! Head over to the San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot to indulge in delicious food you will never forget. 

When you walk into the San Angel Inn restaurante, you will notice its sit-down dining at its best. The décor is beautiful and an excellent extension of the Gran Fiesta Tour ride. Is your appetite ready for great food?

Appetizers 

  • Guacamole – This amazing guacamole is topped with toasted pumpkin seeds and mango with chicharrones and amazing salsa Valentina. 
  • Totopos Con Queso – White cheddar cheese and salsa with corn tortillas. 
  • Soap Azteca is a tortilla soup served with tortilla chips, chile pasilla, cheese, and avocado. 
  • Tostadas de Pollo – Corn tortillas topped with chipotle chicken, beans, lettuce, and queso fresco. 
  • Queso Fundido – Tortillas served with poblano peppers, onions, Monterey Jack cheese and chorizo. 

Entrees 

  • Camarones a la Diablo – This popular dish includes shrimp sautéed in garlic with guajillo pepper and served with roasted cauliflower and rice. 
  • Baja Tacos de Pescado – Battered fried cod, cabbage, pineapple relish, lime aioli served with flour tortillas. 
  • Pescado A La Veracruzana – Snapper seared to perfection and served atop potatoes with tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, olives, capers, and cilantro-lime vinaigrette. 
  • Chuleta de Puerco – Pork chop with roasted cauliflower, plantains, and nuts, topped with mole sauce, queso cotija, and crema Mexicana. 
  • Huarache Vegetariano – Pinto beans, fried corn masa, grilled queso fresco, pea tendrils, and nopales served with salsa verde. This is a vegetarian dish but can be changed by adding shaved ribeye or chicken for an extra fee. 
  • Carne Asada – Tender New York strip steak topped with chipotle butter and served with nopales relish, queso fresco, and plantains topped with crema Mexicana and queso. 
  • Enchiladas de Pollo – Corn-filled tortillas filled with tasty chipotle chicken and topped with crema Mexicana, salsa verde, crispy onion straws, refried beans, and plantains. 
  • Tacos de Ribeye – Thinly sliced juicy ribeye with red onions, poblano peppers, Monterey Jack cheese, and bacon. Served with plantains and tortillas topped with cotija cheese and crema Mexicana. 
  • Pollo a Las Rajas – Tasty grilled chicken breast served with roasted potatoes, onion, garlic poblano peppers, and corn topped with queso fresco and pepper cream sauce. 

Desserts 

  • Sweet Corn Ice Cream
  • Brownie Sundae
  • Chocolate Fiesta Pyramid – A pyramid made from chocolate filled with chocolate mousse and served with toffee, tres leches cake, and ice cream. 
  • Sorbet trio – Seasonal Mexican flavored sorbets topped with berry coulis. 
  • Tres Leche de Horchata – A sponge cake soaked in rice milk topped with toasted almonds and sweet corn ice cream. 

Signature Drinks

  • The Cucumber – Tequila, fresh lime, cucumber, and orange liqueur with agave and chile-lime powder on the rim of the glass. 
  • The Wild One – Tequila, lime juice, mango, passion fruit puree, ancho Verde chile liqueur, ginger cordial, and applejack served with a black salt rim.
  • San Angel Margarita – Tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, agave nectar with a black salt rim. 
  • Black Magic – This frozen drink contains blackberry puree, mint, lime, and black currant liqueur. 
  • Blood Orange – Tequila, orange liquor, rum, vanilla, blood orange juice with a chile-lime powder rim. 
  • El Diablo – Tequila, agave, lime juice, jalapeno, cucumber with a hibiscus salt rim. 

The signature drinks mentioned above remain on the menu, but there is a chance new options will be offered during your visit.

Appetizers

  • Assortment of fruit – Chef’s selection
  • Jr Garden Salad – Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, queso fresco, and dressing. 

Kids Entrees 

  • Grilled chicken breast
  • Tacos – Grilled chicken on two flour tortillas
  • Macaroni and Cheese – White cheddar sauce poured over cavatappi pasta. 
  • Chicken Tenders – Fried breaded chicken tenderloins

Every kid entrée comes with two choices of the following:

There are two other resteraunts worth giving a shot while you’re in the Mexican Pavillion, one table service and the other quick service.
