What it Feels Like to Experience Fantasmic
Settle into a good spot to watch the show and make sure you have your snacks ready! The dark night sky creates an excellent background for the entire illuminating show.
Once everyone is seated all the lights go out and you are sitting in pitch-black darkness. Then suddenly the narration of the story begins and lights begin to appear with music playing.
Mickey Mouse shows up center stage as water sprouts up from the lake and is illuminated with beautiful colors. Then animated Mickey Mouse appears on the large screen as he plays a sorcerer battling good and evil.
Music plays throughout the entire presentation as real-life characters and animated cartoons take turns telling the story. As the event goes forward you will notice Disney characters from Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Pocahontas, The Lion King, Snow White, and the Seven Dwarfs appear.
There are surprises throughout the performance and an incredible light show that welcomes in canoes and live characters. The combination of the light show, small explosions, fireworks, music, and storytelling creates a spectacular experience!
There are moments of beauty and romance as Disney characters dance on floats to music from the Beauty and the Beast movie. Then suddenly Maleficent appears on stage and things get a bit scary but very entertaining!
The entire experience is spectacular and you never know when or what is going t appear out of the dark. It’s a combination of Mickey Mouse having a beautiful dream and a nightmare. The story goes back and forth and each scenario is amazing!
The ending is a big surprise and it will be kept top secret until you get to experience it for yourself!

This ride has a medium scare factor. This is a dark attraction with a lot of lights, loud noise, fire, small explosions, and fireworks that could scare young children.
Post Show
After the Fantasmic show, your energy will be boosted and you will be ready to explore all that Sunset Boulevard has to offer! Head over to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith to blast off in a stretch limousine as you zoom through darkness and occasional lights.

When you want to unwind a bit Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is a relaxing attraction that allows you to sit down and enjoy the story about how to become a champion told by the characters in the Cars movies.
