Everything blooms in spring at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival. Every year Walt Disney World’s Epcot theme park creates fantastic topiaries, gardens, exhibits, displays and offers delicious food you can’t get anywhere else! As you walk around the park, your senses are filled with delicious scents, beautiful vibrant flowers, Disney characters, live entertainment, and more! Pick Up Your Epcot Flower & Garden Passport
As soon as you arrive at the festival, pick up your free Epcot Flower & Garden passport. This beautiful pocket-size brochure-style booklet is your guide to all the food and fun. Before you begin your journey to the festival, make sure you check the last two pages of the passport.
This is where you will find the Garden Graze food scavenger hunt.
There is a list of about five different foods you need to try throughout the festival. For example, the list might include potato pancakes; coconut tres leches dessert, corn on the cob, avocado toast, and grilled vegetables.
When you try each of the foods on the list, you get a stamp on the passport. As soon as you complete all the tasks, you will receive a completer surprise that is usually located at Pineapple Promenade. However, the surprise might be at a different location within the park, so check the passport for further details.
Epcot Flower & Garden Topiaries
One of the many amazing things you will see at Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is the topiary sculptures shaped in the form of your favorite Disney characters. They are located in gardens throughout the Epcot world showcase and feature beautiful greenery with colorful flowers. Make sure you take pictures because the topiaries are different every year. Popular topiaries from the past include Mickey and Minnie, Woody, Pluto, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Buzz Lightyear, Elsa, Pandas, Dragons, Peter Pan, Beauty, and the Beast, Tinker Bell, and lots more!
Epcot Flower & Garden Outdoor Kitchens
The aroma of food will follow you throughout the world showcase and guide you to the delicious outdoor kitchens. Your mouth will water as you indulge in tasty new recipes and beautifully presented food. Every year, you will find outdoor kitchens located in the following areas, but the menu is unique each year, so you always have something to look forward to every time!
Germany Pavilion
You will find traditional German foods with that special Disney twist. Pretzels, potato pancakes, cheese strudel, cocktails, and beer are popular items from the past. Who knows what yummy treats you will find when you arrive?
Port of Entry
This outdoor kitchen usually offers sweets, baked goods, specialty cocktails, and beer, such as 81Bay Brewing Co. Citrus Honey Cream Ale. Every year the recipes and brew change to ensure you explore something you have never tasted before and can’t find anywhere else.
Test Track area
This is where you will find the Farmer’s Feast. They offer hearty dishes that are made with farm-fresh ingredients. If you are looking for a good meal, check out their springtime menu, including ribeye, lamb, grilled vegetables, and desserts. Their summer solstice menu is lighter, but you can still find delicious dishes such as barbeque seared port tenderloin.
France Pavilion
Indulge in French cuisines such as imported cheese, sweet baked treats, elegant cocktails, and draft beer.
Mexico Pavilion
Tantalize your taste buds with corn tortillas that you have never experienced before. This outdoor kitchen also offers plant-based, gluten-free, and wheat-friendly options. Don’t forget to try the cocktails and craft Mexican Lager.
Morocco Pavilion
Enjoy a taste of the Caribbean at this outdoor kitchen located between the Morocco and France pavilion. Their specialty cocktails are inventive and a must-try. You can also enjoy plant-based options or indulge in shrimp, chorizo, or melted queso fresco arepas.
China Pavilion
Indulge in authentic Chinese treats such as cheesy crab wontons and spicy mala chicken skewer. This outdoor kitchen is called the Lotus House and is available every year. They offer refreshing beverages that match perfectly with the food. They also offer non-alcoholic drinks that are tasty and have an excellent presentation.
American Adventure Pavilion
This is where you will find the best seafood dishes, including crawfish, shrimp, mussels, grilled oysters, and more. The cocktails and beer options vary each year.
The outdoor kitchens mentioned above will get you started every year. Some locations have multiple outdoor kitchens within the same area, offering a different menu at each location. Browse the kitchens until you find the menu that suits you best.
Disney does a great job at offering a wide range of menu items, from your protein favorites to vegan options and dietary restrictions such as gluten-free and wheat-free. There is something there for everyone.
Tip: Nibble on your favorite food item from each menu to avoid getting full too quickly. You can also share one dish with your friends and family at the festival to avoid getting too full.
Epcot Flower & Garden Merchandise
There is a theme every year for the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. This theme is evident in the merchandise collections, so make sure you pick up a souvenir. Past themes include popular characters like Orange Bird, Spike the Bee, and Mickey and Minnie. You can find merchandise at kiosks throughout the world showcase.
Epcot Garden Rocks Concert Series
Live entertainment includes the amazing Garden Rocks series at the America Gardens Theatre. Find your way to the American Adventure Pavilion to indulge in live music. Some popular performers from the past include Rick Springfield, Kool & The Gang, Daughtry, and CeCe Winans. Every year there is a new lineup that usually features about 50 performers.
