Some restaurants even have small gift shops set up inside.  You can learn more about France and all it offers by watching the panoramic movie Impressions de France. You will also find added extras such as tiny mouse footprints on the cement in various places throughout the France pavilion. As well as shapes of mice hidden in the rod iron forms near the world’s water area showcase.

Review of the Cuisine at Chefs de France

This restaurant proudly uses simple, fresh ingredients to make its unique classic French dishes. They also have an extensive list of French wines imported from each region.  Let’s taste test some of the items from their lunch and dinner menu!

Appetizers

Escargots  This starter is an excellent way to indulge in an authentic French dining experience. The parsley and delicious garlic butter make this casserole of escargots taste incredible. Whether you have tasted escargots before or not, they will surely become your favorite when you try this casserole.  French Onion Soup You might have eaten French onion soup thousands of times, but this one tastes extra special. The flavors in the soup complement each other and create a unique flavor with each bite. However, the scrumptious Gruyere cheese is what puts this onion soup recipe over the top!  Salade de Chevre Chaud The name sounds fancy, but it’s the best-baked goat cheese that includes grapes, walnuts, endives, tomatoes, and mixed greens.

Entrees

Brochette de Crevettes a La Basque  Shrimp lovers rejoice because this dish is a dream. The savory juicy large shrimps are marinated in garlic and tomato and then griddled to perfection. This dish also contains mushrooms, corn, cauliflower, shallots, and an incredible veloute sauce.  Poulet Fermier roti a la Lyonaise  This classic savory dish features a juicy half-rotisserie chicken flavored with herbs. The seasoned mashed potatoes topped with tomato vinegar sauce add a pop of flavor. Pouring or dipping the chicken in the tomato vinegar sauce kicks the entire experience and makes it extra enjoyable.  Boeuf Bourguignon The braised beef flavor is brought to life in Cabernet and creates a delectable juice that includes baby onions and carrots. The dish is served with linguine pasta which allows you to pour the Cabernet juice over the entire dish.  Filet de Saumon  The salmon features lemon and white wine flavor in every bite. It’s broiled, which creates an enjoyable texture. It’s served with sweet peas, rice, carrots, and a special champagne sauce.

Desserts

Gateau au Agrumes This flavorful dessert exudes strawberry, lime, and citrus flavors. The citrus flavor is embedded in the cake, while the strawberry lime cream adds the perfect punch to the dessert. The warm berries compote tops off the flavors and complements the other fruit flavors nicely.  Tarte au Chocolat  This tart has the most amazing chocolate mousse you will ever taste. The texture and flavor exceed your expectations, while the ganache, vanilla ice cream, and cocoa sauce add delicious dimensions to this tasty dessert.

Cocktails

St. Germain Cocktail This sparkling wine pairs well with many of the entrees mentioned earlier.  French Martini  Spark up your experience with this fresh-tasting martini. It includes a precise amount of vodka, Chambord, lemon-lime foam, and pineapple juice.  Chefs de France also offers a kid’s menu, wines, non-alcoholic beverages, house specialties, coffee, tea, and more.  Overall, Chefs de France is a captivating experience with an authentic French ambiance and delicious food the entire family will enjoy.
